The Ocean Front Hotel - Colombo

location: the hotel was near to the fort and shopping centres and train station and a grocery store. huge and spotless room with a balcony was enjoyable. it was surely a wonderful stay for 3 nights.

Wonderful hospitality, really good service

My partner fell ill and the staff at the hotel were really nice too take care of us. Their kindness and consideration were amazing. The decor of our room was cool and the place was spotlessly clean. The hotel may be small, but the staff made up for it with their excellent service. Despite a few minor issues like a slow-draining shower and occasional noise from the street, our stay at The Ocean Front was overall fantastic. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its warm hospitality and great service.

Railway

Every time in Colombo, I choose this place. Fairly clean and gorgeous place, has particularly good views over the sea. The location is great and fab, it's in Kollupitiya district not far from airport and all the main sights and restaurants and ocean and everyday life. There is a great selection of fantastic food for breakfast.

Staff very friendly, rooms bright and clean, good food.

Train runs right next to the hotel however we all slept well.

The parking was nearby. the room was well decorated and well laid out. - There was a variety of tasty food for breakfast. - the location was very central and close to public transport. - It was located on the ocean front.

There was nothing I didn't like.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was welcoming and helpful, and the hotel facilities were well-maintained. Our room was clean, with comfortable bedding and a beautiful bathroom complete with toiletries. We particularly enjoyed the incredible ocean view from our room and that it was shielded from the noise of the city. The hotel's location was great, with convenient parking and transportation. Moreover, the breakfast offered was fantastic with plenty of options to choose from. In summary, we highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and hassle-free stay.

It was all superb.

I had a wonderful stay at The Ocean Front. The room was well-equipped and the bathroom was clean and spacious. I especially loved the jacuzzi with its fine view of the ocean. The staff, especially the manager, were friendly and were pretty good too assist us. They even recommended a great driver who took us around the city. The location of the hotel is also convenient, with many restaurants nearby. I highly recommend this hotel for a fantastic stay in Colombo.

Great location near main areas, 10/15 min walk to promenade. Helpful staff, carried luggage, friendly manager. Large room, comfy bed, spotless and good shower. Lovely sea view from balcony. Nice breakfast with coconut juice. Nearby Barefoot for shopping and hidden cafe.

Clean and comfortable room with great ocean view. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice restaurant and library. Peaceful and relaxing environment. Superb breakfast and dinner.

The breakfast served was delicious and the staff was very welcoming. the hotel location is perfect for walking around and exploring the city. the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable.

The train noise was a bit of an issue as it was audible even during the night. having to climb stairs to get to the reception and higher floors was a bit of a challenge.

The location of this hotel is absolutely unbeatable. Situated just across the street from the sea, I had a breathtaking view of the ocean from my room windows and balcony. It was the perfect way to start and end my day. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to amenities made it very convenient for exploring the area.

Great ocean views, friendly staff and helpful with local arrangements. The vegetarian food was delicious, accommodating to dietary preferences.

Train tracks nearby caused a lot of noise disturbance and balcony views were limited. Limited power plugs and rooftop Jacuzzi too small.

I recently stayed at a hotel near the ocean and attractions of the city. The room was clean and had a spacious bathroom with hot water. The staff were friendly, helpful and provided top-notch service. The hotel had excellent facilities and advantages such as great travel arrangements. The location was perfect for a start or end to my Sri Lankan adventure with an unobstructed view of the ocean.

Although there was a bit of noise from a train passing by, it did not bother me much during my stay.
